Consultations
Q. Where are you located?
A. Balanced Path is located at Go Vita Tanunda – 98 Murray Street Tanunda, South Australia. The clinic is to the rear of the shop.
Q. Do you consult online?
A. Yes we do, via Zoom. Once a booking is confirmed we will send a link and information on connecting with Zoom.
Q. When are consultations available?A. Consults are available every Tuesday and Wednesday 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Q. Tell me about the initial consult
A. Your initial consultation will be a duration of 75 minutes. In this time, Pete will discuss with you your health goals, past health history, diet, lifestyle and family history. Depending on your presenting condition, he may also conduct physical examinations such as blood pressure, tongue and nail analysis, live blood analysis, Vega Test or iridology. Q. How many consultations do I need?
A. As Naturopathy is a highly individualised form of care, the number of consultations required varies from person to person. We advise you prepare to attend 3-4 consultations at minimum during the first 3 month treatment period. This enables Pete to develop a comprehensive treatment strategy. Following this phase, check-ins will take place approximately every 6-12 weeks if needed.
Q. How do I cancel an appointment or reschedule?

Payment
Q. When is Payment due?
A. 100% of payment must be received prior to, or at the end of the consultation time.
Q. What are the payment methods available?
A. We accept payments via cash, credit or debit card.
Q. Can I claim Private Health Rebates?
A. No, unfortunately the Australian Government removed Naturopathic medicine from the private health rebate scheme April 1st, 2019.
Q. What is included in the consultation fee?
A. The consultation fee encompasses a private one to one consultation, and can include discussion to gain insight into your health staus, non-invasive physical exams, assessments and your individualised treatment plan. The consultation fee also includes Pete’s time spent outside of the appointment researching evidence-based information, assessing your condition/ progress, creating prescriptions and analysing pathology results if applicable.
Q. Are there any additional costs?
A. Costs outside of the consultation fee may include prescribed product, for example: herbal medicines, nutritional supplements, homeopathic medicines or comprehensive testing.

Q. Are your practitioners qualified?
A. Pete has over 30 years experience in successful practice and holds an advanced diploma in herbal medicine, nutrition and a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) degree.
Q. Are the Naturopaths Registered?
A. Yes, Pete is registered with recognized associations.

Q. Who has access to my information?
A. All Personal Information in the form emails, case notes and treatment plans are stored securely on a third party system. If you have any queries regarding your privacy, you can view our privacy policy here.
