Naturopathy

How naturopathy works

Naturopathy combines traditional natural medicine with modern scientific understanding. It recognises that health is influenced by many factors, including nutrition, lifestyle, stress and environment.

Consultations involve detailed case-taking to build a clear picture of how the body is functioning. This often highlights areas of imbalance before they develop into more serious concerns, allowing earlier and more effective support.

Who naturopathy is suited for

Naturopathic care can support people at any stage of life and is suitable for both acute and ongoing health concerns. It is commonly used to support stress, energy levels, hormonal health, digestion, skin health and general wellbeing.

Care is always individual, based on current health needs and what is achievable in everyday life.

Modalities used in naturopathic care

Depending on individual needs, naturopathic care may include a combination of:

• Herbal medicine
• Nutritional medicine
• Homeopathy
• Dietary and lifestyle guidance
• Health coaching
• Functional or supportive testing where appropriate

Some assessment tools, such as live blood analysis and VEGA testing, may be used in clinic as part of a broader naturopathic consultation.

These tools are not diagnostic and are not used in isolation. They are considered alongside health history, symptoms and other clinical information to support discussion and understanding.

Evidence-informed care

Pete integrates evidence-informed practice into his naturopathic work, using appropriate testing where helpful to better understand underlying patterns and guide care decisions.

Consultations are available online and face to face.
